Confidentiality and Cancellation Policy

Mindscape has a confidentiality and cancellation policy, Every person engaging in Mindscape’s service has the right to confidentiality. There are clear protocols regarding the confidentiality and cancellation policy detailed below.

Confidentiality Agreement

Every person engaging Mindscape’s service has the right to confidentiality and a person’s details and treatment information will not be shared with third parties without permission. Although during the course of therapy the client may direct the therapist to share information or receive information form any person they choose.

Confidentiality exceptions are detailed below and your therapist will inform you should this need arise:

  1. If your therapist has strong reasons to believe that another person could come to serious harm.
  2. Strong reasons to believe that you may be at risk from harm and he/she will need to inform family members and/or contact the relevant authorities
  3. Strong reasons to believe that a vulnerable child or adult may be in danger and contact the relevant safeguarding authorities
  4. Art Psychotherapists may occasionally find it helpful to consult other professionals about your case, such as in clinical supervision. However, your identity will be kept confidential.

Cancellation Policy

This art psychotherapist published fee per session and or treatment programme is non-negotiable. Extra time needed in addition to the allotted fee per session is chargeable.

Clients are responsible for coming to their session on time and at the time scheduled. If you are late, your therapist will end on time and not run over into the next person’s session. If you miss a session or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged for that session. In cases of sudden illness and/or emergency you will not be charged.
